Man commits suicide - Tortured by 2nd wife

Akola: Fed-up over continuous torture by his second wife, a man committed suicide by consuming poison on Friday in Telipura locality of the city, the police said.
According to police, the deceased Firoz Khan Hussain Khan had two wives. However, his second wife Shabana Parvin along with her relatives harassed Firoz Khan for property and later pressurised him for divorce. Fed-up over the problem, Firoz Khan consumed poison, went to the police station and informed them about his extreme step. The police rushed him to general hospital where he died after two hours.

Khan accused his wife Shabana Parveen of torturing him. The police detained his mother-in-law Malika Bi and brother-in-law Fammu Beg for interrogation. Despite recovering a suicide note, the police have registered a case of accidental death.
Further investigations into the case are on.
