SC wants criminal cases on fast track

NEW DELHI: With the lower court dockets bursting at the seams, Supreme Court has asked the law ministry to find out whether trial in all criminal cases, which are pending for more than five years, could be fast-tracked. If the proposal is accepted, it could potentially revolutionise the criminal justice system.
