MP Minister Slapped a woman Querying Broken Pledge

DHAR (MP): Madhya Pradesh minister of state for women and child development Ranjana Baghel on Friday allegedly slapped a woman twice after an election meeting at Palasi village under Manwar police station. “Ganga Bai has lodged a complaint with us alleging that Baghel had slapped her twice. We are investigating the matter before taking any action,” Manwar SHO N S Dabar said.
As soon as Baghel came down from the dais after addressing a meeting in support of her husband and BJP candidate from Dhar seat Mukam Singh Kirade, Ganga Bai asked her that the state government had promised to waive Rs 50,000 loan given to farmers during the last year’s assembly polls but it has not yet implemented, eyewitnesses said.
Ganga Bai also said that now again the voters are being doled out false sops for electoral gains, they added. Baghel lost her cool and allegedly slapped Ganga Bai twice and her gun man too misbehaved with the woman, they said.
