She had buried body in her bedroom

Murder of Ganesh, boy friend of Ramaswamys wife Selvi (33) came to light during interrogation of three persons - Dandapani (25), Chandrashekar (25) and Ramaswamy (50) who were held for hatching a dacoity plot. The trio spilled the beans about the murder committed in December 2006.

Imagine, a paramour’s body buried in the bedroom while the woman happily continued to live with her husband in the house. Sounds weird, but it’s a true story that came to light in JP Nagar.

Murder of Ganesh, boy friend of Ramaswamy’s wife Selvi (33) came to light during interrogation of three persons - Dandapani (25), Chandrashekar (25) and Ramaswamy (50) who were held for hatching a dacoity plot. The trio spilled the beans about the murder committed in December 2006.

Selvi, an active member of Dalit Panthers of India, was popular in GD Mara slums in JP Nagar. She was also a money lender and Ganesh and Sampath were her musclemem, said the police.

Selvi also had extra-marital affair with Ganesh who was also courting her sister Radha. Enraged with this, Selvi gave supari to Sampath to eliminate Ganesh. She cooked up stories and saw to it Ramaswamy also hated Ganesh.

Sampath and Ramaswamy engaged Dandapani and Chandrashekar for the job. The gang hacked Ganesh to death and buried the body in Selvi’s house.

Following court orders, the body was exhumed on Wednesday and the remains were sent to the forensic lab for material evidence. Interestingly, no missing complaint has been registered against Ganesh in the city.
Except Sampath, others are in police custody.
