Mother strangles son, hangs herself

HOW CAN A MOTHER DO LIKE THIS…? OR THESE WOMEN GONE CRAZY.!

BANGALORE: A pall of gloom descended on Dr M S Prakash’s family who found their daughter hanging from the ceiling fan and their two-year-old grandson Kishen lying dead at their house in Jayanagar II Block on Saturday morning.

Shwetha (30), daughter of Prakash, was married three years ago to Mahesh Anantha Narayan, an accountant with a software company.

Last Friday, Shwetha and Kishen came to visit her parents. After dinner they retired to their room.

The next morning, Shwetha’s mother Sunita knocked on their door and finding no response, grew suspicious. Prakash broke open the door and found his daughter and grandson dead.

According to Shwetha parents, their daughter shared good cordial relationship with her husband and in-laws and there was no foul play suspected. “Depression might have been the reason behind her extreme step,
