Woman slit the throat of a man and committed suicide

Ranchi, Aug 12 A woman allegedly slit the throat of a man in a temple and then committed suicide following a financial dispute in a Jharkhand village, police said Wednesday.

According to police, Pramila Devi, in her late thirties, murdered Kamlesh Ram who was praying in a temple in Sijua village of Dhanbad district. She then went home and hanged herself from a ceiling fan.

“There was some financial dispute between Pramila and Kamlesh. We are investigating the case and trying to ascertain the provocation behind the murder,” said Inspector A.K. Singh. Sijua village is 260 km from here
