Woman arrested for murder in Bangalore

Bangalore Nov 19: A woman was arrested today in Bangalore for murdering a person who had been staying with her for the past over three years, police said.

The woman, a daily-wager, hit the 45-year-old man, a native of Tamil Nadu, on the head with a hammer following a quarrel on November 16, police said.

The woman, a widow, had lodged a complaint with police yesterday saying that her husband had been murdered while she was away,the sources said. But investigations revealed that she had murdered him, police said.

The deceased was also a daily-wager, police added.
