Women hangs because of her Pre-marital Affair

Dubai / Puttur (Tue Dec 6, 7-51 am): Sunita Rai (25), daughter of DK zilla panchayat former member N K N Rai hailing from Kadaba in Puttur taluk, ended her life by hanging herself in an apartment where her husband lives in Dubai. The incident took place on Sunday, December 4 while her husband Naveen Rai had gone out.
Naveen, hailing from Parpunja near Puttur and Sunita had married in Puttur on October 16. Within a short time, she joined him in Dubai.
Police sources in Dubai said when Naveen came home around 7 pm, he found her hanging and that they found a death note nearby which stated that while Sunita studied in Ujire in Beltangady taluk, she had loved another boy. It also said that since she could not marry him, she was ending her life.
Her mortal remains would be brought to Madikeri, where Sunita’s mother hails from, and the final rites would be held there.
