So far, After British left India, Every Political party came to power swindled more money in their one electroal term than what British took in a Century.
and same trend continued today also. Every politican accumulated so much public money from various scam, which beyond calculation of a Common man.
Our Politicans make laws for the sake of Industrialists, and get handsome return or Party funds or Election support. Politicans allow to sell public and private properties to multinational companies or Industrialists, no need to say they are doing it for free.
best example is Mr. Veerappa Moily of “cash in suitcase” – “seeda poi” fame, and Income-tax raid in 1990s while he was Karnataka state finance minister, he was a just ordinary lawyer for Arrack baron Sadananda Kamat 25 years back from Karkala, Udupi district, who was walking 2/3 kilometer to his daughters school, who was not able to afford a cycle those days, today he has lavish properties in Bangalore, for sure a Swiss Bank Account too. with just government salary all this is possible ? unless he has hand in glouse with Industrialists.
for centries no one was questioning, even opposition parties as they also swindled same amount of money when they were ruling, it was live and let live policy, SORRY SORRY, eat and let others eat…..
Now Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal questions those wrong doing and make it public, expose profit sharing alience of Politicians and Industrialists.
Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday ordered the filing of an FIR against Union Petroleum Minister M. Veerappa Moily, former Minister Murli Deora, Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) chairman Mukesh Ambani and former Director General of Hydrocarbons V.K. Sibal for alleged collusion in fixing natural gas price through hoarding in the KG basin D-6 block.
Acting on a 100-page “common complaint” by former Cabinet Secretary T.S.R. Subramanian, former Navy Chief Admiral R.H. Tahiliani, Supreme Court lawyer Kamini Jaiswal and former Expenditure Secretary E.A.S. Sarma, the Chief Minister instructed the government’s Anti-Corruption Branch to probe the matter under relevant provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The move drew an immediate response from Mr. Moily, who said the Chief Minister did not know how the government functions and that fixing of prices of petroleum products was done on expert advice. Describing the decision as shocking, RIL said the complaint and each of the allegations on the basis of which the government had taken action were “completely baseless and devoid of any merit or substance whatsoever.”
The allegations include inflating gas prices much above the cost of production and keeping production much below the capacity to seek upward revision. Quoting the complaint, Mr. Kejriwal also questioned the need to fix gas prices in U.S. dollars when the entire production was being consumed internally.
Now all other parties knows, someday or other more skeltons will be out from thier cupboard, and for sure these well rooted interests never allow such things to happen, unless they put fullstop now.
“No wonder Arvind Kejriwal will be assassinated, as most Bloody Indians still wearing bangles and support BJP/Congress.” common man exclaimed
