Mangalore: In india, to marry their lover many women murder their husband or runaway with lover but get maintenance from their husband, with law support, but they get justice too sometimes, here she met her fate for Cheating on Innocent husband – Exclaimed common man
Saudha (35), wife of Abdul Razaq of Deralakatte who is employed abroad, had reportedly fallen off a bike near the Mangalore university campus at Konaje while pillion-riding with one Abdul Rahman of Kalkatta near Manjanady on Dec 6.
They were said to have been on their way from Mudipu to Konaje. She was critically injured and was admitted to a hospital with the help of a rickshaw driver. Abdul Rahman got the road accident reported to the police through a relative called Kabir.
On hearing the news, her husband flew to India at once and arrived here. Subsequently, she died in the hospital on Dec 8. On seeing her condition and observing the nature of her injuries, Abdul Razaq got apprehensive about the circumstances in which she had died.
He filed a complaint with the city commissioner of police stating that it was not a mishap but a well-planned murder. The commissioner instructed Ullal inspector Madan Gaonkar to investigate into the case.
A team consisting of Gaonkar, Konaje sub-inspector Shivaprakash and others held a thorough inquiry. They took Abdul Rahman into their custody and interrogated him. It was then that he confessed having known Saudha for the past 14 years. For his own reasons, it is suspected, he wanted to get rid of her and faked the bike ‘accident‘ for the purpose. Possibly, she was pressuring him to get married to her, which he might have declined, said police sources.
Now charges of murder have been filed against him. He was produced in court which has remanded him to judicial custody.
