London, Oct 6: The death of Apple’s co-founder Steve Jobs has attracted the largest online reaction after twitter recorded 10, 000 tweets per second.
According SR7, a social media monitoring firm earlier Beyonce’s performance at the MTV Music Awards when she revealed that she was pregnant had got a response record of record 8868 tweets per second.
Other such event included Japan beating USA in the women’s soccer World Cup finals in Jul that brought forth 7196 tweets per second, while terror head Osama bin Laden’s death attracted 5000 tweets per second, said the Sydney Morning Herald.
