Chennai, Sept 10: Tamil Nadu Chief minister Jayalalithaa on Saturday (Today) said that she will take necessary action over corruption link to the previous ex-DMK government.
In response to CPI member S Gunasekaran who was demanding an inquiry commission to probe alleged irregularities by former Transport minister K N Nehru, she said “government would not spare corrupt.” However, Nehru was recently arrested in connection with land grab complaints.
“Gunasekaran is in such a hurry calling for setting up a commission right away. However, I don’t act in haste and I am someone who measures her every steps carefully. We will consult legal experts and initiate action,” she said.
Earlier, Transport Minister V Senthil Balaji said that his department has been running in losses and move to crores due to the irregularities and corruption made by former Transport minister Nehru.
