Lahore, Jul 23: In a recent inhumane and beastly incident, a man has been awarded death sentence for raping his 15-year-old daughter in Pakistan.
The accused, Khalid Amin divorced his wife Parveen Bibi in 2008 and the couple’s two daughters and four sons were living with the father.
Amin’s ex-wife Parveen Bibi filed a first information report at Kahna police station in Lahore, accusing her former husband of raping their daughter for a month in 2009. The daughter testified in court that her father raped her for at least a month.
“My father threatened he would kill my brothers if I disclosed his act to anyone,” the girl told the judge. The girl told her cousin about the assault, and the cousin later informed Parveen.
Parveen quizzed her daughter, who confirmed that she was raped by her father.
Additional sessions judge Tahir Khan Niazi handed down the capital punishment on Friday after the charge against Khalid Amin was proved.
A Few persons tried to hit Amin while he was taken out of the court but policemen protected him. The persons called him a “savage” and demanded that he should be hanged at a public spot to make an example of him.
