Haridwar, Jul 26: It seems that Baba Ramdev’s close aide Acharya Balakrishna befooled the Indian government by fleeing away from the country. A missing diary has been filed in Haridwar police station on Tuesday, Jul 26.
Balakrishna’s bodyguard Jayendra Singh Aswal filed the missing report. According to Aswal, Balakrishna had asked him to leave early for Patanjali office on Monday but he (Balakrishna) himself did not reach the venue at the scheduled time.
After investigation, police was told that Ramdev’s aide had gone for some ‘urgent work’ and he would soon return to the ashram. Though the ashram authorities refused to comment on Balakrishna’s whereabouts.
Balakrishna went missing soon after the investigating agency Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a case regarding fake certificate scam. CBI had claimed that certificates from the Varanasi University submitted by Balakrishna are fake.
Citing the tremendous possibility that Balakrishna may try to abscond the country to avoid any legal actions against him, the government on Monday alerted all airports and border check points.
