An interesting case has been filed in Mangalore.
The BJP and Advani were in power for 1 full-term, and they should have used the opportunity to push forward their agenda of Changes in the Consititution, etc, etc.
During the last election, Pakistan-born Advani and his communal cronies raised the non-issue of Sonia Gandhi being denied the Prime Minister post. There is no constitutional bar for such a denial, and it is actually a blatant act of discrimination. Since Advani had raised this issue, he should have been pulled up under the same Sections mentioned below. And, he himself is of ethnic origin and birth from Lahore, Pakistan. Any comments?
The complaint was lodged under sections 153 A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth etc), 153 B (imputations, assertion prejudicial to national integration), and 505 (Statements conducing to public mischief) of the Indian Penal Code.
