A teacher at top school Merchant Taylors’ in Merseyside has been suspended and is the subject of a police investigation over alleged sexual misconduct with pupils.
Hannah McIntyre, 24, was arrested and bailed on suspicion of breaching a position of trust with boys from her school – the independent Merchant Taylors’ in Crosby.
The alleged activity is understood to have involved sixth form students at the fee-paying senior school where she has worked since September 2007.
The police and social services investigation is focusing on allegations that misconduct occurred outside school hours and away from the premises.
