Kerala Temples, Jayalalithaa, Modi on Al-Qaeda terror List

Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 27: A recent report shocked and horrified many when it claimed that terror outfit al-Qaeda plan to target Kerala’s two famous temples – Sri Padmanabhaswami temple and Guruvayoor temple.

The report also claimed that the militant outfit, which was once led by slain terrorist Osama bin Laden, wants to assassin Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa and Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi.

According the sources, Guruvayoor temple authorities received a letter which has been posted from Chennai, carried the information on the possible terror attacks.

The letter, which was written in English, was addressed to the Guruvayoor circle inspector, sources said on Wednesday, Jul 27.

The police along with bomb squad rushed to the above mentioned two temples in Kerala and beefed up the security around the two campuses to avert any kind of bomb scare or threat.

Padmanabhaswami temple has emerged in the news with its crores of treasures and jewelleries found inside the hidden vaults.

A new post-superintendent of police has been created by the Kerala government to guard the treasure trove estimated to be at Rs 1 lakh crore in the temple which is situated in Thiruvananthapuram.
